We’re turning one! This month we are celebrating our first anniversary and we’re feeling a bit nostalgic. Looking back at the past year, we’ve learned so much about ourselves, our business and our community. We are excited to continue learning and growing.
Let’s take a look at the past year:
Summer:
June 27, 2018 – The day it all started! We opened our office and started accepting patients!
July 18, 2018 – We hosted a Wine & Cheese Party. We had such a great time meeting our neighbors and showing off the space.
August 25, 2018 – We hosted our first SATX Block Party. A big thanks to those who came out and supported the San Antonio Food Bank. We raised $800 dollars and collected much-needed food. Together, we provided over 5,600 meals and had an amazing time!
Autumn:
Oct 2, 2018 – We participated in National Night Out in the Lavaca/King William neighborhood. We love getting involved with our local community.
Oct 31, 2018 – We celebrated our first Halloween at Elevate. And of course, we had to honor Harry Potter. Did you know that Dr. Chew and Dr. Kwan are huge Harry Potter fans?
November 21, 2018 – Thanksgiving was a great time for the Elevate team and Beauty Lab to give thanks. It was also a time of reflection and to break bread with the special people around us. Pecan pie was Dr. Chew’s special request!
Winter:
Dec 2, 2018 – Did you know that last year’s Rock N Roll event took place in front of Elevate? We took advantage of it by cheering on the amazing people who ran, including our very own Dr. Chew, Dr. Kwan, and Angelo.
Dec 19, 2018 – With the holidays in full swing, we had a holiday meal together with Beauty Lab. Our first Christmas at Elevate was a special one, and we look forward to many more!
January 2019 – To mark the start of the new year we launched a blog – Elevate Essentials.
Spring
March 2019 – We started offering Glo, a new whitening system!
April 1, 2019 – We had a photoshoot with the amazing Jonathan Ivy. Don’t you think he did a great job? Time is passing so fast, that we are trying to capture and enjoy every minute of our startup journey.
April 17, 2019 – We partnered with River House to celebrate our first Fiesta. Viva Fiesta!
To celebrate our first birthday, we are hosting our 2nd SATX Block Party. We love being a part of this vibrant, growing, downtown neighborhood. Be our guest on Saturday, June 29th to help us celebrate! We will have food, drinks, vendors, giveaways, music, and much more. Our ticket proceeds will benefit the SA Food Bank’s 1,000,000 summer meal program for kids. We can’t wait to see y’all there! Thanks for supporting our startup and our city!
