What to Expect During Your First Visit to Elevate Dental
Visiting the dentist can be stressful. At Elevate Dental, we strive to make your visit a positive, stress-free experience. We believe we are partners in your overall health, and that seeing the dentist (2x a year!) is an important step in having a beautiful, healthy, smile.
To start your visit, an appointment request can be made via phone, email or online. We work hard to find an appointment time that works for you. Are you busy during the week? We offer evening appointments and are even open on select Saturdays.
Conveniently located in downtown San Antonio, we offer visitor parking in the garage neighboring our office. Once you arrive, you will be offered refreshments and beverages (Topo Chico anyone?!). We like to give first-time visitors a tour of our beautiful space to help them get acquainted with us. You will meet our amazing team who is dedicated to providing quality dental care and VIP customer service. If you need any assistance or have any questions, just let us know. We’d love to help!
If you haven’t filled out your online forms, no worries! We have an iPad for you to complete them at the office. Once all of the paperwork is taken care of, our dental assistant will take any necessary dental x-rays and ask you a few questions about your smile. Don’t worry, our lips are sealed! Your information is private and nothing is shared without your written permission.
Our new patient visits usually take around 90 minutes. This may seem long, but our time together will fly by! In most cases, we start with an oral cancer screening exam, a gum exam, x-rays, and other images. We wrap up our time together with a gentle, but thorough cleaning. Worried about being bored? We have Netflix and music available for your entertainment. Music requests are taken very seriously at Elevate Dental! Or for those who’d prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet, we have blankets and pillows for you to indulge in a quick nap.
Once we are finished with your dental exam, a personalized hygiene kit is made for you to try out some new products. Stop by our front desk and our staff will answer any financial questions you may have. We understand insurance is confusing, so we do our best to work on your behalf to figure things out with you.
